A team of archaeologists has made a fascinating discovery in the desert of northern Mexico, unearthing the remains of a 72-million-year-old dinosaur tail. The excavation, led by Francisco Aguilar, director of the National Autonomous University of Mexico’s Institute of Anthropology and History, identified the fossil as a hadrosaur, also known as a duck-billed dinosaur. The team, comprised of archaeologists and students from INAH and the National Autonomous University of Mexico, carefully documented the fossil as a significant breakthrough in paleontological research.
